Pedicure Course

Required Knowledge

The Pedicure Course is designed for manicurists who wish to offer their clients pedicure treatments.

If you wish to take the Pedicure Course you must have an accredited manicure certificate such as an ETI Manicurist and Nail Technician Diploma.

On-line tutoring

As your work is assessed by written submissions and photographic evidence, via e-mail, you should have access to a computer with internet and e-mail access. No classroom contact time is required for this certificate as you have already been assessed for manicure.

Help with course work preparation, including a tutorial on basic photography and photographic lighting, is available on our student support site.

Course Media and Materials

The course pack contains a high quality DVD of a complete pedicure, including optional treatments for deluxe pedicures. The DVD voice-over explains each treatment sequence in detail and close-up videography ensures an excellent view of the procedures.

The pedicure course study guide contains all the necessary background information such as, anatomy of the foot, contra-indications to treatment and foot diseases and disorders. Manicure subjects such as structure of the nail are not repeated.

On-line tutorials and links to information pages are available on the support site. This along with e-mail support provides the student with a comprehensive accredited learning package.

All tools and products are included with the pedicure course apart from the cuticle knife and nippers and a hoof stick which are in your manicure kit. These are available separately if required.

Booking

Each pedicure course must be registered to the student taking the course when purchased. It is not possible to transfer the course between students.

Accreditation

The pedicure course certificate is accredited by The Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists.

Availability

The pedicure course runs continuously and may be joined at any time.

Course Fees

The fees cover all materials, including the kit, assessment and certification and are £94 for ETI nail tech graduates or £100 for other students. All prices include VAT.
